Excellent documentary. It just goes to prove, again - unfortunately - that crime and corruption does pay (on earth). Hopefully those that participate in such debauchery will not see the light of heaven - ever and be stuck forever in a purgatory that they cannot never get out.

I think it sad that these 2 courageous whistle-blowers, while being in the position to gain information, were forced to step down from their esteemed positions. There is too much corruption in this country. Especially from IRS. IRS has been jerking me around for around a year to where I made a simple mistake filing the incorrect form while paying my proper taxes. They have made several mistakes processing my corrections: from charging me additional months; recording my payment months after depositing; threatening me with a tax levy for an amount I had already paid; refunding me my original payment after threatening me with a tax levy; charging me interest and penalty on that original tax due as of very recently; then finally not refunding the correct amount or even explaining themselves. Oh by the way IRS apologized many times for their mistakes My reply to them is that they would not accept an apology from me without penalties and interest.

I ask, our tax system, why an individual who owed nothing get hassled while they allow non-profits to dodge their tax payments. If we had the greater amount maybe this country would not have the debt they have. Greed is not patriotic; but money rules for certain individuals who probably attend church, too. It is easier for IRS to go after the little person who has no money, just the same as the non-profit hospital sues the uninsured.

As for the insured, be careful. After paying insurance over 40 years, they will drop you. Usually a person needs insurance after 60. Where is the justice? There is none.

It appears that everything is based on money and greed and unfortunately our government, both individual workers and legislators are involved in this corruption while the simple, honest citizens are losing out and being harassed.

Where has the ethics gone in the USA? Will these corrupt individuals involved in these greedy schemes pay for their crimes? - especially after they die: I hope so.

How do common people blow the whistle without being sued by these large conglomerates that are all in bed together?

I SAW YOUR SHOW ON PBS A COUPLE OF NIGHTS AGO AND I JUST HAVE TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH I RESPECT WHAT BOTH OF YOU DID TO TELL EVERYONE ABOUT THE STORY OF OUR "BROKEN" MEDICAL SYSTEM. NOW I UNDERSTAND MORE OF THE REASON THAT PRESIDENT OBAMA IS FIGHTING FOR HEALTH CARE REFORM IN THIS COUNTRY.. SO MANY STORIES ARE COMING TO LIGHT INCLUDING THE 5 YEAR OLD BOY WHO CANNOT GET A CERTAIN CANCER TREATMENT BECAUSE HIS INSURANCE COMPANY WILL NOT PAY FOR IT. ALSO THE 39% RAISE IN PREMIUMS HANDED OUT BY BLUE CROSS. WHERE AND WHEN IS THIS GOING TO STOP?????? I THINK EVERY PERSON IN OUR GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE MADE TO WATCH YOUR STORY FROM THE WHITE HOUSE RIGHT ON DOWN.... BUT I GUESS THAT WOULD BE ASKING EVERYONE IN GOVERNMENT TO DO THE RIGHT THING------ AND WE ALL KNOW HOW THAT IS GOING RIGHT NOW!!!!!! HOW VERY SAD FOR OUR COUNTRY... BY THE WAY, YOU MIGHT WANT THAT BUNCH AT "FIXED NEWS" AND GODD OLD "RUSH" TO LOOK AT IT TOO... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FOR GOING THROUGH WHAT YOU HAVE TO BRING THIS STORY OUT..

I was stunned by your documentary. We viewed Do No Harm on PBS 56.1 Detroit. I am presently taking a course with a portion on ethics and social responsibility. I will be sending as many classmates as possible to your site. Kudos to these two fine men.

The above link provides a good current update to this story. Just this week, the prosecutor had to face charges for the false prosecutions that he did as a favor for the hospital. Maybe someday the whistleblowers will get justice.
