Frequently Asked Questions about Working at Rocket
Rocket is committed to its patients and is looking for top talent to join the team to help us bring best-in-class, curative gene and cell therapies to patients with devastating diseases. Once you have applied for an open position, your resume will be reviewed by the recruiter and hiring manager. Based on the needs of the position, select applicants are invited to a telephone interview with the recruiter initially, followed by the hiring manager. Select candidates are then brought onsite to interview with the hiring manager and other Rocket team members. Some will ask questions based on technical expertise some will ask more behavioral type questions. Rocket follows the STAR technique for interviewing so we can get a true sense of your expertise and contributions. Some positions will require that the candidate present on a topic related to the position they are interviewing for as well.
The interview team typically gathers for a debrief within 24-48 hours of a candidate’s interview. We are quick to identify top talent and will make a decision soon after to proceed with an offer of employment or to notify a candidate that he or she isn’t a match for current opportunities and is encouraged to sign up for future alerts.
