Dr. John Bagnato
Dr. John Bagnato graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1982 and followed up with an internship and residency at University Hospital, Jackson, Mississippi. He worked as a general surgeon in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and then moved to Albany, Georgia in 1998, where he became a partner in Albany Surgical, PC. He stayed at Albany Surgical until 2007, when he opened his own practice in Albany, specializing in lap band surgery. He is a member of several professional societies, including The Georgia Society of General Surgeons, of which he is a founding member. He has authored numerous articles on laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Bagnato and his wife Jeni have two daughters, Kaitlyn and Brittany.
